hello there everyone!! I’ve decided to move The Curly Haired Girl over to a new domain. Please go on over and have a look around. It’s will be much of the same things as before just hopefully a bit slicker and of a better quality. I’m starting a fresh ( well sort of) I want my new site to be more of the 21 year old me and not the 16 year old me who started blogging way back when. Hope you like it xx
I thought I’d share with you lovely people some of the things I’m loving ‘Right Now’.
A work shop held by Channel 4 and Bournemouth University to give the media creators of the future a helping hand about what they want and how to move up in the industry. Somehow I’m managed to win a place. I spent the day working in marketing.
I hope you enjoyed this post, I’m going to be making this into a regular feature i think. In other news I’m off to Paris in just under a months time. Yay!!

Every blogger I follow has the most beautiful vanity desk/ dressing table, many a night I have spent drooling over everyones decor. Not to be the only blogger not on the band wagon, i thought I’d share. Sharing is caring.
On the left we have two mirrored boxes which contain my hair ties and clips (gift)// bunny lamp (gift) //jewellery box (Home Sense)//my favourite coin purse ( Lulu Guinness)// Cornish Piskie. I’m a definite jewellery horder, so I’ve put off buying a jewellery box for ages because i have so much of it. This isn’t even half of my collection but what can I say, I fell in love.
The right is totally my favourite side, I love looking at the bright bloom of the flowers with the dark wood vase, and the orange frames.

The perfect trousers for summer days and nights. There are so many different elements to these trousers that I love. The cropped leg, the bright blue, the pattern. And would you believe that they are comfy and £9!
I love wearing trousers with heels, feels like such a powerful statement. Bought these bad boys without trying them on, thanks to me running again.

One of my favourite things to wear during the summer is a kimono, the lose fit hangs perfectly and protects you against the suns rays. I’m not really one to go for something in red, but this short kimono was what I was looking for. I accessorised the kimono with converses, my trusty Lulu, classic cat eye sunglasses and a gold chain. A completely relaxed look.

Im in love with the 70’s look this season, big sleeves, flairs over sized sunglasses i could go on. My key to not looking like I’m doing fancy dress it so wear one or two key 70’s pieces. Big sleeves are a box ticked in my world, the silhouette they give your body. The colours are definitely what drew me to the top and I’m glad I spent the time to try it on and play around with the pleats the belt gives, in love with this top.

Before Christmas I went to the Christmas Work Party and had a great time. Danced for hours giggled with the girls and watched all the pyrotechnics going on.
I my shoes and feet were covered it mud at the end of the night, which I think is a sign of a great night.

We are well and truly into 2015, I hope you had as much fun as I did ringing in the new year. I went to a 60’s/70’s themed party.
Mustard and burnt orange were the colours to go for. When shopping for my costume I couldn’t help but smile to myself. I mean buying a beach poncho in December. I felt like telling everyone that ‘it’s just for a costume ‘. I wouldn’t really wear this outfit. The plastic skirt was hilarious everytime I moved it made a noise. br />

My alarm buzzed me awake at 5am to signal the start of my trip to Clothes Show Live 2014. I ran around the house half a sleep pulling on a dress, tights, and coat. And finally L pulled into the drive and we raced of to Birmingham. My plan for the car journey was to be DJ and chatter box but the lack of sleep hit me and I crashed out. We stepped into the Clothes Show and was greeted by a sea of girlies ( and a few guys) milling around with bags dripping from each arm.
having been two years ago we both knew which stands we wanted to have a look around and what to get. We headed to Beauty and parted with money (alot of money) and walked around soaking in the atmosphere. Models Own, Rimmel London, Ciaté and Oasis were killing it so I stocked up on goodies.

I’ll do a more I depth look in a different post.
We spotted one Andy from MIC, Alfie and Fleur De Force. The queue to see them was curving around the whole stand see admired from afar.
Clothes Show Live would me nothing with out their killer show. The last time I went I didn’t really like their show but I loved this one. All themed around NYC.
In love with the Barbie pink bubble gum dress and the wicked red and yellow skirt. Need to find them and buy them right now. Totally love this song Temors – Sohn, they played during the show and I had to give it a Shazam.
